I left Folkestone in 1957 and have lived in Ballarat Australia since. I visit Folkestone very often and always enjoy staying at the Clifton Hotel. I have very fond memories of Folkestone and wondered if there is any old schoolies that would remember me.. I went to Hillside between 1955 - 57. Cheeers.

I lived in Vauxhall, South London and was sent to a children's home in 1938-1939 in Folkestone and I am trying to trace it. It was run by nuns and was next door to a Catholic church. I remember running down a hill to the beach, so it may have been built on a cliff. Any ideas, please let me know so I can visit. Thankyou
