I was in 1985 and 1986 in Folkestone during a language holiday with AIT from Hamburg. I' ve been hosted by Mr and Mrs Pullen with theire nice kids Laura Jane and Mark and one year later at Mr. and Mrs Waller with theire, at that time, very young daughter Aimee. I`ll remember this time my whole life,I do often think about these wonderful people and would sometimes know how they are living and looking today and hope of course they are all lucky and healthy. So farewell , Stefan from Hamburg , Germany

Hello, I live in Folkestone, near the town. I've lived here all my life, and I'd never move away. I'd definately recommend Folkestone for someones holiday, as there are plenty of things to do. You can go out for long walks up the hills, sunbathe on the beaches, go shopping in the town, go clubbing in one of the nightclubs, or just go for a beer in one of the many pubs. You don't have to stay in Folkestone, you can visit the towns around us. THERE ARE LOTS OF THINGS TO DO IN FOLKESTONE!

What a great shame for my family and thousands of others to see the pleasure beach in its present state. My parents always took us their as a part of our child hood holidays 30+ years ago. i now take my 8 year old daughter their but for the sandy beaches only but i tell her what fun we used to have at her age on the pleasure beach. NO DOUBT THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT IT DONT RELISE HOW MUCH PEOPLE LOVED IT..

Hi, I live in Folkestone, and am a teenager, I've lived here all my life, and I'd never move. There are shops, beaches, walks, basically, there is loads of things to do here. There are buses you can get to go to near towns, so a lot of transport. There is a tourist shop-thing which gives you any information you might need. If anyone is thinking about coming to Folkestone, then I strongly recommend it. IT'S GREAT HERE!!!!!!
Thank you, Jess.
