Demelza children's hospice is situated in beautiful Kent countryside just outside Sittingbourne. We are the only children's hospice in the south East. We provide respite and terminal care for children suffering from a life limiting condition and their families. We aim to add life to days when days cannot be added to life. Our care team provides specialist nursing and support to help families through a very difficult time. The hospice is designed to be a home from home with comfy sofas, a welcoming kitchen and large farmhouse table where everyone gathers at meal times. Siblings can feel very left out when there is a sick child in the family so we also offer support to them including a group that meet on a regular basis. The Hospice provides a haven of love for the families that use it, children come from as far afield as Brighton and south London.
